Welcome to Hearth Artisan Bread

We are looking forward to providing you with the best artisanal wholesale bread in Boston and the South Shore! We offer a full selection of artisan breads and rolls, or we can customize a wholesale bread just for your restaurant or establishment.

Please call us at 774-773-9388 so that we can set you up as our new wholesale bread customer. Our office is open Monday through Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm. You can leave a message on our order line after hours and someone will get back to you as soon as possible or you can email us at wholesale@hearthartisanbread.com.

In order for us to set you up in our system, we will need precise delivery instructions as well as a time frame of when you would like to receive your delivery.

We also ask that all of our new wholesale customers fill out a credit application. The credit application is available as a PDF and can be mailed or faxed back to us:

A delivery fee of $2.25 is applied to each delivery.

Ordering Procedures:
All wholesale orders and cancellations must be placed with our office (never with a driver or night staff) between the hours of 9am and 5pm, at least two days prior to delivery. (For example, you would need to call by 5pm on Tuesday for Thursday delivery) If it is necessary to make a change to an existing order, or if you forget to place your order, please call us as soon as possible so that we can discuss the options that are available to you. We will do everything in our power to accommodate your change. Customers are responsible for changing or cancelling their standing orders or scheduled deliveries due to holidays, weather conditions or for any other reason. If we do not receive notice of cancellation, your bread will be delivered as scheduled and you will be responsible for payment.

We deliver early in the morning. Many of our customers are not present to sign their invoice. Typically, they provide us with a key to their store so bread can be left safely inside. Others provide an outdoor locker to keep the bread clean, safe, and dry. Upon receipt, please check your order. If there is a mistake, please call us as soon as possible within the next 48 hours, so that we may try to correct the error. If no call is received within 48 hours of the error, the invoice, signed or not, is considered a contract for payment. In the event that you have a complaint about your delivery, we kindly ask you to call us as soon as possible so that we can correct the mistake on our side and work towards serving you better. If we do not receive a call within 48 hours, we will assume that everything was in perfect order. Once this 48 hour period has passed, no credits or changes to the invoice will be accepted and the order will be considered delivered in full.

Payment terms are net 14 days unless special arrangements have been approved by Hearth Artisan Bread. All payments that are due beyond 30 days will be subject to interest of 1.3% per month. In addition, you will be responsible for all legal and collection fees should your account fall into arrears. All COD invoices must be signed and marked paid with the amount of cash or check rendered. COD invoices that are turned into our office without being marked as paid will be considered unpaid. If you prefer paying with a credit card, you can set this up with our accounts receivable department at 774-773-9388. We accept all major credit cards.
